Class 1 Drivers - LaPrairie Works Oilfield Services

Position: Class 1 Drivers and Owner Operators

Class 1 Drivers:

Based out of Grimshaw AB, we are now accepting applications for experienced Class 1 drivers to haul Super B Hoppers / Pneumatics in northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Class 1 Lease / Owner Operators:

We are now accepting applications for experienced class 1 Lease / Owner Operators to haul Super B Hoppers / Pneumatics in northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Lease / Owner Operators require a late model tandem axle of tri-drive axle truck with a sleeper that is well maintained and certified. Drivers must be able to run as an interprovincial carrier and be insured and licensed.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Loading and unloading at various work site environments
  • Valid Class 1 licence with a clean abstract. Off road driving an asset
  • 2-3 years experience preferred
  • Experience in hopper and bottom and pneumatic operations
  • Good communication skills and ability to understand and follow directions

Salt Plant Operations - Diversified Industrial Service Company Inc.

Position: CSI Salt Plant Operations

The Diversified Industrial Service Company is a member of the LaPrairie Group of Companies. We are currently recruiting for a full- time Site Maintenance Technician to perform the required preventive maintenance and necessary repairs of the plant and load-out equipment for the salt plant, mobile equipment, and other facilities at the site. This position will report to the Operations Manager.

Duties of the Site Maintenance Technician:

  • Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating and maintenance procedures
  • Perform routine periodic inspections of the plant, load-out, storage facilities, and other facilities at the site
  • Coordinate with mobile equipment operator for periodic inspections of the equipment
  • Maintain the daily log of all plant and load-out equipment and/or major component hours
  • Maintain the daily log of all mobile equipment and/or major component hours
  • Prepare preventive maintenance schedules for all plant and load-out equipment as well as all mobile equipment
  • Prepare and submit the necessary required daily reports as directed
  • Directs the Plant Operator, Plant Labour, and Mobile Equipment Operators when maintenance work is to be done
  • Perform other functions as directed from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma in a trade. Preference will be given to applicants with maintenance experience on mining equipment
  • A minimum of five year’s hands-on experience in plant maintenance including; conveyors, vibrating screen rotary dryer, bag house, etc.
  • Must be proficient in using computers and have specific knowledge of MS Excel.
